Description: The BlueCat Screenplay Competition dedicates itself to the development of screenwriters worldwide and we are proud to continue our tradition of giving written feedback to all screenplay submissions.

Founded and judged by an award-winning screenwriter, BlueCat has developed a keen eye for exposing screenwriting talent through our diligent and committed analysis of each submission.
Objective: Since 1998, the BlueCat Screenplay Competition has developed and discovered thousands of writers through our commitment to providing written feedback to all entrants and substantial cash awards to the best screenplays.

BlueCat remains committed to the undiscovered writer, and will continue its tradition of providing written analysis on every script submitted.

Rules: Early Deadline: September 30th, 2018. Feature Screenplay $50, Pilot (Hour) $45, Pilot (Half-Hour) $40, Short Script $35, Short Film $35.

Regular Deadline: November 15th, 2018. Feature Screenplay $60, Pilot (Hour) $55, Pilot (Half-Hour) $50, Short Script $45, Short Film $45.

Final Deadline: December 16th, 2018. Feature Screenplay $70, Pilot (Hour) $65, Pilot (Half-Hour) $60, Short Script $55, Short Film $55.

Late Deadline: Short Film $60.
Prizes and Awards: *The Grand Prize Winner will receive $10,000. All scripts submitted (Features, Pilots and Shorts) are eligible.
*The Feature Screenplay Winner will receive $5,000. Four Feature Finalists will receive $1,000 each.
*The Pilot Winner will receive $5,000. Four Pilot Finalists will receive $1000 each.
*The Short Script Winner will receive $5,000. Four Shorts Finalists will receive $1000 each.
*The Fellini Award will be awarded to the Best Screenplay from any category (Feature, Pilots or Short) of the 2020 Competition written by a screenwriter residing outside the USA and will receive $2500.
*The 3 Title Contest Winners will receive $250 each.
*All cash prizes will be disbursed 30 days after the winners are announced.
*Every script submission will receive a written analysis as a part of their entry fee.
